Reorientation of ARBOinteractive: ARBOmedia AG consolidates Internet activities

• Marcin Wozniak appointed Internet Divisional Manager
• Reorientation focuses on Internet activities in Eastern Europe , a source of profit for ARBOmedia AG

Munich, 7th. April 2008 – ARBOmedia AG is reorienting itself. ARBOinteractive, in particular, is of the utmost importance in this group development, which from now on will bring together all the Internet activities of the group. “We are backing the expansion of the Internet in Eastern Europe and are certain that we will expand further in these countries,“ said Alexander Sigl, Chair of Marketing, Sales and New Business at ARBOmedia AG. “We are planning to seriously boost the staffing and content of the ARBOinteractive Division in the next few months and are intent on developing far beyond the level of market growth in this segment, with an expansion of business activities and with Marcin Wozniak assuming central crossborder responsibility. Over the last seven years, Marcin Wozniak and his team have successfully developed their Internet activities, amongst other things, with ARBOmedia AG attaining market leadership in Poland. Now, as Internet Divisional Manager, he has also been given the mandate to expand and build up the branches.“

In Eastern and South-East Europe, ARBOmedia AG has a far-reaching market with potential for growth. ARBOinteractive has already had successes in the Czech Republic, Romania, Poland, Turkey and Russia. “The acceptance and quality of the Internet is continually improving in these countries, and the advertising turnover of this medium is also growing,“ said Marcin Wozniak. “We are particularly pleased that ARBOinteractive has become one of the most important players in Eastern Europe. In Poland, for example, we are the number one online marketing agency.“

Conditions are favourable for ARBOinteractive in the regions of Eastern and South-East Europe. The number of Internet users is constantly increasing, the period of use is extending, and the number of websites is growing.

In all countries where ARBOinteractive is active, profits rose from 2006 to 2007, generally doubling. “We again expect a doubling of profits in 2008,“ said Sigl, “in particular because the market in Russia and Turkey will grow and we will also expand into other countries.“
